St. Louis Block Wall Depressurization
In this system a pipe is inserted into the block cavity and attached to the same piping system that serves the other systems.
This technique, used in houses with hollow block foundation walls, depressurizes the voids within the concrete block by drawing air from inside the wall and venting it to the outside. The image shows two approaches to St. Louis block wall depressurization. This method is often used in conjunction with sub-slab depressurization.
